The National Capital Area Square Dance Leaders Association (NCASDLA) has promoted professionalism in the leadership of square dancing, round dancing, and contra for more half a century.  Our members include callers, prompters, cuers, and teachers from Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.
In Memoriam

NCASDLA sadly notes the passing of long time caller Walt Peterman on the morning of March 6, 2013. Walt was a lifetime member of NCASDLA, and served for many years as its president.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations are made to Evercare Hospice, 12018 Sunrise Valley Drive Suite 400, Reston, VA 20191.

Maryland Caller's School Announced for July.

A new caller's school will be held at Tom Sellner's house in Columbia, MD. for the 3 1/2 days immmediately preceding the Star Spangled Banner Festival. Cost per participant will be $250. Featured instructors will be Tim Marriner, John Marshall and Tom Sellner. For further information, call Tom Sellner at (443) 812-8048.
