The ExComm encourages all section members to participate in upcoming section activities and to benefit from networking with your fellow IEEE members. With several activities already planned for this year and the recent formation of an IEEE Women in Engineering group, the ExComm anticipates an exciting 2005 and getting better acquainted with many of you. The ExComm always welcomes your input, involvement and contributions toward making Worcester section activities more meaningful professional experiences.

The group will provide section members with additional professional development and networking opportunities. Desiree has started organizing and planning activities for 2005 and welcomes your support, involvement and participation. Desiree can be reached via email at desiree_awiszio@msn.com

Arthur Winston, 2004 IEEE President, will give a talk on the Technical Professional in 2010 followed by dinner at Higgins House on the WPI campus. Save the date, details will be forthcoming.

ExComm Meetings - The section's ExComm meets monthly, typically on the second Wednesday of the month, at Intel's facility in Hudson. The meetings start at 6:30PM with pizza/soda and lasts until 8:00 - 8:30PM. All section members are encouraged to get actively involved with the section and participate in executive committee meetings. There is a standing invitation to all section members to attend ExComm meetings and become involved with establishing the section's agenda. Please email me (Reinhart@DisCom.com ) when you plan to attend so we can be sure to have a sufficient amount of pizza and I can email you directions to Intel.

Immediately following most ExComm meetings is an optional PACE (Professional Activities) meeting of a libational nature at either Checkers or The 99 Restaurant. Topics discussed are those of immediate and pressing worldly concern to the attendees. PACE meetings typically adjourn about 10:00PM.

I sincerely hope to meet you at the next section event and look forward to your attending our executive committee meetings.
