Here is an example of a typical cover in a new development.

Water Covers always capture an atmosphere that the larger covers just don't seem to grasp.  This one says cold gray, stable water supply, always reliable and clean.

This has to be the most stoic and business minded city in the world.  There seems to be very little playfulness here and a lot of pomp.

Even the drain grids are stodgy...

It's always good to see a bit of theatrics on the part of the drains.  Sometimes swirl drains actually cheer me up!

... what a beautifully painted cow to go with the well maintained cover and sidewalk.  It's probably due to the close proximity of the prosperous Fleet Bank in the background.

... and the stature of the trash cans are superior.  All of these visually semantic observations were made at the time of the construction of this web page, and not as a pre-conceived notion.

There were some good small places to eat on this plaza.  I think it was the first time I had Chai.
